Silent Night, Holy Night

This was written by a friend of ours and shared with us, and with her permission I'm sharing with you. I hope you enjoy it!

~ ~ Silent Night, Holy Night ~ ~
Whether your Christmas Eve will be noisy and filled with fun or having a more quiet but meaningful gathering with special people, whether it will be awkward or sad or even silent and alone, it can be a Holy Night.
I see Holy as meaning set apart and like no other. Certainly God is like that! And there is none like Jesus - God joining humanity. We are each set apart too for our Creator's own purposes which are unique for each of us and are to give us a now and a future filled with hope and overflowing with His goodness and love and care for us.
Indeed, it will be a Holy night, like no other as we focus on our reason for existence which is to be encompassed in a love celebration with our maker - being loved by Him and being able to love in return - as our our awareness of His presence increases and turns our lives into a song springing from our spirits in  awe of a God who made us to just to love us and and who wants us with Him so we can together dance the dance of joyous fellowship - with Him and with each other - and sharing intimately with a very real and personal Father, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit living inside us as our comforter and revealer of all God is.
Every night is a Holy night in light of all  God is and has planned for us and we can wake up every day with a Joy to the World, the Lord HAS come! as we greet our Saviour who awaits being with us each moment just to be with us!!!
Set apart ... like no other... God IS that, and you ARE too!
Enjoy this day, this night, with the ONE who really is Joy in our hearts and JOYnd together with us so we may live forever reJOYcing in His loving embracing presence.
Merry Christmas Eve!
